Gifts and Challenges of Writing About Personal Healing
My writing has been the major activity and challenge of consciousness for me since November of 2016. I have attempted to bring insight into collective consciousness, individual consciousness, the sacred, the profane, and all of their intersections, and collisions within our human experience. I have never been a writer,
Italy Day #3
Pompei Much bigger city than I had imagined, with 70 percent unearthed so far. This tragic city was buried under 15 feet of pumice after the eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79 AD.. We had a wonderful 3+ hour tour by our expert guide. She brought the ruins, and the Read more
Consciousness–Infinite, Yet, Does It Have Infinite Power?
OK, by now, if you have been reading my blog posts, or have done some serious explorations of your own consciousness, the realization has already come about the infinite nature of consciousness. Yet, as our awareness scans the infinite frontiers of consciousness, have we yet connected with any real, or Read more

No Makena Beach heroics today. Sacred silence and ocean waves, are imbued with nature’s call for love. Why can this moment be run over by so many divisive voices? Silence, real silence, is feared, and must be replaced by the words and thoughts of those controlled by the hapless ego’s Read more
What Is an Archetype?
An archetype is an emotion, character type, or event that is notably recurrent across the human experience. In the arts, an archetype creates an immediate sense of familiarity, allowing an audience member to relate to an event or character without having to necessarily ponder why they relate. Day 7: Santa Fe To Holbrook, Arizona
Route 66 Santa Fe New Mexico to Holbrook Arizona Saw some old towns and great off freeway scenery. Much of original 66 is in disrepair or replaced by other newer roads, but it was a worthy effort. Petrified Forest was amazing. 200 million year old trees, many remnants looking like Read more

Revisited May 21, 2022: Part One-Penetrating The Conspiracy Of Silence
“It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society”—Jiddu Krishnamurti Powerlessness and silence go together. We … should use our privileged positions not as a shelter from the world’s reality, but as a platform from which to speak. A voice is a gift. It Read more

Day 12: Joshua Tree to Old Town Temecula ( uncensored version)
Route 66 has ended for us, alas, yet we get to connect with family in Temecula.
Joshua Tree National Park is amazing, to say the least, so that I will. Chet King, fellow ” laughing cholla”, photo number 6 is for you! A cactus called the cholla decided to jump onto my calf. Akiko supplied the gloves, and Sharon White had the pleasure of separating my calf from an unfriendly, painful hitchhiker.
On to dinner in Old Town, with Sharon’s number one son, and now only child (Brad is over 50 years old, I guess that he is not a child anymore, eh?), his wife Dawn, and our number 3 grandson Tony.
Some family members continue to travel on the infamous Route 666. I will not participate in any family conspiracy of silence, where dishonesty is a treasured value. Our number 2 grandson, who is quite ” damaged” is also not so mysteriously connected with a missing daughter, who, not coincidentally, is incredibly damaged goods, as well. Each has a potentially fatal problem with knowing and telling the truth, and acting with honesty and integrity in their affairs. As they say ” in the Program”, at the end of Route 666 is either death, insanity, and/or jail, and they are both living into those nightmares, and have normalized their own stupidity over the courses of their lives
Sad..Families are like our planet Earth, they can’t be healed by taking a torch to them. No one heals by sacrificing another in the flames of one’s own hatred and ignorance. We have been the sacrificial lambs in the past, but now we wear spiritual kevlar.,
May they both find healing and peace, FAR AWAY FROM US!
