The process has begun. It may take nine months to bring this project to fruition. Melinda Copp will be using 1,000,000 (of the total 2,000,000 words that I have written down) to choose from for the first book.
There is no ” channeling” here, it is a mature spiritual work by a man not suffering from disassociation or schizophrenia, or fear of what others might think of “little old me” if I deliver this message. There are no Atlantis warriors, or ventriloquists for “spirit guides”, giving this message.
It will be condensed down to about 100,000 words.
It will be an engaging, readable, helpful work by the time Melinda has finished.

Hi Bruce,
I have read through your manuscript and given the project lots of thought this week. Here’s my proposal:
1. You have a great deal of good and interesting raw material here, but it is truly raw and unorganized, as you know. The biggest problem is it’s written in a way that does not draw the reader in or give them a reason to keep reading. When your goal is to change people’s minds about something or enlighten them in some way, you really have to write with a focus on that reader, from the first sentence to the last. This reader focus means changing not only the order of the material, but what gets left out, what stories you tell, how you tell them. It means taking the reader’s hand and leading them, sentence by sentence, to a promise. Right now, the way your manuscript reads, there is nothing for a reader to grab onto.
2. We’ll start with a conversation about the one specific problem that you can solve with the information you have here (or a portion of it) and what promise you can make to readers. Then I’ll use these conversations to guide the rewrite, reorganizing the material, condensing it down, and reworking it so that it keeps readers hooked. Because you have the raw material in your draft, the project won’t require as much interviewing as a full ghostwrite. But we’ll need to plan on speaking several times throughout the project to develop a working outline, fill in the blanks, plan, etc. I will record these conversations and have them transcribed. Then I will rewrite the chapters based on our conversations and send them to you for feedback as they’re completed. We’ll work through all the chapters like this until we’ve finished them. Usually my clients see pages from me about three weeks from when we start working together. And I will revise based on your feedback.
3. The total fee for the project will be $18,500. This fee will include all the consultations, transcription fees, editing/writing, and revisions. And at the end of our working together, you’ll have a completed manuscript. It’s hard to say at this point how long the book will end up being, but we’ll edit it down to an appropriate length for an inspirational/self-help manuscript; the industry standard for books of this type is on the shorter side, anywhere from 40,000-80,000. Your book might be a little longer than that, which is okay as long as it keeps readers hooked.
4. We will plan for a nine-month timeline. I will send chapters to you every 2-3 weeks for approval, and any revisions usually take about two weeks after I get edits from you. I will need $2,500 to start, and then eight monthly payments of $2,000. I can accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Paypal, check, or money order, and I will put your project and our first interview on my schedule as soon as the first payment is received. Projects are booked on a first come, first served basis.
Please let me know what questions you have. I can’t remember if we covered all the bases when we spoke before. When you’re ready, I can send a contract, which explains other terms, such as the cancellation policy, copyrights, etc. And we can get started as soon as I receive the first payment and the signed contract. This proposal is good for 60 days.

My style and intent in life has rarely been to win friends and influence people. As you might discern from my writings, I do not strive to please others, but instead to present my truth. My intent has been to find the truth, understand it to the best of my ability, then live it and create a meaningful life. I have succeeded in that lifelong endeavor.
I had a creative writing professor at a local university read book#3 and give me feedback. He basically stated that I had too much power, and not enough love for the reader who will struggle with its presentation.
Thanks for reading through the material, giving me feedback, and offering to rewrite this difficult to read work. Nobody took me by the hand in my life, and helped me to organize my life so that it would make sense to others, or draw interest from others to my unique experience, and expression of life. Had that occurred, there would be no story for me to tell. There are profound societal, familial, and personal reasons behind any addiction, or suicide attempts. My own sister stated that my descent into darkness, and ultimate escape from it, is meaningless to 98 percent of the world.
I conspired with the Universe/Mother Earth to create an order out of the chaos of Earth life that made sense to me, and kept me upon my healing path. .The only reason that I started writing was to give a voice for those who do not have one, many of whom already committed suicide, or resigned themselves to a lonely, desperate, and/or chemically clouded life. Making this kind of message palatable to an indifferent or uninterested world is the most difficult of propositions, and beyond my scope. There are profound reasons that our culture does not hear the cries of the needy, and the failing.
Making a superficial book that has already been written and marketed by others so as to please a publisher and casual readers does not interest me either. I know personally a couple popular writers of modern “spirituality” who I do not aspire to be like.
I have been to hell, made friends with the demons, and watched most of them transform into angels, and lived long enough to even be embraced by Universal Love. I lived to tell a unique story, and carry a most profound message. Few there be who may be interested in it. Few there be who have lived my kind of life, survived it, and became willing to share their experience of it, with no desire to draw income from the experience, either. I will forever walk outside the lines of cultural ” normalcy”, and I have no shame about it.
I will accept your proposition, if, together, we can bring forth a unique, significant work, and not more spiritual froth. I am not interested in writing another The Secret, or a book to make someone who is quite ill feel good about themselves without them also becoming motivated to make significant changes to their consciousness. While this world hurts and burns, my heart cannot help but suffer with it.
If we are on the same page, then let us proceed, TOGETHER..You might have to walk ” outside of the lines ” with me from time to time.
