The way to know that “God is on our side” in any discussion, argument, or war is when the urge to damage or destroy each other is abated, and our primary desires are understanding and reconciliation. Obviously, God has little or nothing to do with our present political processes. And, it is wisdom to question any belief system that continuously places a person at odds with his fellow-man. There is so little wisdom left in those seeking and finding political power that the common man should be worried about our future. One life, one love, one heart, expressing through the infinite diversity that is represented in God’s creation throughout all of eternity, but that is a vision missing from the so-called empowered people minds and hearts Tragically, the vast majority of humanity sits outside of the truth and beauty of God’s creation, having settled for the discarded husks of misunderstanding generated by untold generations of collective ignorance. “Build a field, they will come”, a famous line from the movie Field of Dreams, also points to a great truth-we must build a consciousness of truth, if we want to have an experience of it. Our culture is built upon a foundation of many, many lies, and until we collectively rise up, and lift ourselves out of the cesspool in consciousness created by our ancestors (and presently affirmed by too many political, economic, and so-called religious leaders), we will remain on the same merry-go-round of ignorance.
