Bunion surgery, with the next two toes also getting executive treatment, including pins stuck into them, TWO INCHES through toes into foot body, to keep them straight (after being broke at top knuckles, and the tendons sliced at toe base to reduce hammertoe curling effect).
Don’t buy and/or wear cheap tennis shoes when you are young, as there will be a painful, stiff price paid when youth is in the rear view mirror!
I bled all over the house after returning home from the surgeon Monday. No secrets as to where I limped to, the red trail leading EVERYWHERE gave me away.
I won’t be walking, let alone running, again for a while.
But limping?
NO PROBLEM!
That almost finished book #8 better be within limping distance, I am almost bored enough to get it ready for the publisher!

I predict a 48 minute 10K in an ORRC road race in 2 years when I turn 70 years old.
